Vapers World was created as a informative site, but it has evolved a little.  

2010 has seen many informative sites open up, most of which contain far more information that Vapers World.

So this site has evolved, and it is now more of a private club for vapers.

I try and keep the information as up to date as possible, concentrating more on the forums as a discussion place for news and events.

We do not automatically authorise new members to the forums.  The reason being spammers register and then use the opportunity to spam the forums with porn and all kinds of material we do not want there.

If you want to join the forum and are new to the world of vaping, then use the 'contact us' form to tell us a bit about yourself, as well as going through the registration process.

If you have already attempted to join and have heard nothing and your registration has not been authorised, again, use the contact us link, tell us about yourself, and authorisation will be granted.

 Vaping in the UK is under serious threat

As part of the Governments "Smokefree Future" initiative, a shift towards "harm reduction" is proposed:

This ought to be good news for vapers who have already found a successful way of replacing smoking as their means of using and enjoying nicotine. BUT - the government has placed the responsibility for dealing with "nicotine containing products" with the MHRA. The MHRA is proposing regulation, which, if implemented as proposed, could see the end of the products and liquids we enjoy, and at best their replacement by "approved" devices and liquids "eventually". If MHRA ignore our views (or don't get them) the timescales for this consultation are too short to allow any current e-cig or juice vendor/manufacturer to gain approval for their products before e-cigs and liquid would be forceably removed from the market.

There is a suspicion that the MHRA were hoping for/expecting no responses to this consultation - they haven't even called UK vendors and vapers for a meeting.

PROVE THEM WRONG - LET THEM KNOW HOW WE FEEL

I simply found myself on a site known as ECF, back in March 09.  

After 40+ years of smoking, I decided, after reading the vast amount of information that ECF provided, that I would have a go at substituting an electricon cigarette for some of the real ones.

These days I prefer to call the device a PV ( personal vapouriser).

 I never expected that within 3 weeks, I would no longer want to smoke, but that is what happened.

I am not claiming that PV's are healthier, or will make you give up, or anything like that. I am simply telling you, what happened to me.

Look at the facts for yourself, see how many chemicals and toxins are in a real cigarette, then check what is in e-juice, the liquid that is vaped in a PV.

Compare it, and decide for yourself.
